SUMMARY:Winter Trivia Night
DESCRIPTION:Winter blues have you down? Is 2019 not living up to its promise of being better than 2018? Did you make new years resolutions to be really kick-ass at trivia? \nThe Journal of Law and Technology at Texas invites you to join us for a Winter Trivia Night on Thursday\, February 7th at 8:00pm at Posse East\, 2900 Duval St.\, Austin TX 78705.\nThe Winter Trivia Night is an all-out tech trivia battle between legal professionals\, students\, and UT faculty over their knowledge of pop-technology and legal trivia for citywide bragging rights. \nThe entry fee is $10 per person\, and teams may be comprised of up to six people (organizations may enter as many teams as they can field). The trivia itself is essentially a typical pub trivia format\, with the addition of challenge questions. Challenge questions are available at the end of each round\, when teams will have the opportunity to pay $20 and pick the question category of the challenge. If the team poses the challenge to themselves\, a correct answer results in ten extra points. If the team poses the challenge to an opponent\, the opponent must answer correctly or lose ten points. Each team is limited to one challenge question per round. \nThe names and organization of champions will be logged on a brand-new 2019 winners’ board and the winning team will receive prizes and never-ending glory (… until next time). \nGather your friends and colleagues\, start thinking of a great team name\, and come support the only Texas Law journal dedicated to the intersection of law and technology! \nPlease RSVP on Facebook and Eventbrite.
